At Hotel Domina Parco dello Stelvio, we don't just offer a getaway into the nature of an unspoiled territory, with people-friendly picturesque landscapes, but we are committed to preserving and defending this precious environment to the fullest.
At the heart of our commitment is the thousand-year legacy of a rural culture, deeply connected to the land, water, pastures, and forests. We have treasured the wisdom handed down from our fathers that taught to use resources frugally, without excess and with respect.

We think that, today, as in the past, our land is the only treasure we have. For this reason, we have an obligation to protect it for future generations.
With this in mind, we have implemented relevant initiatives, such as using 100% Energia Pulita Dolomiti Energia (Clean Energy), adhering to the Ecoristorazione Trentino project, and we have obtained the EU Ecolabel as a certificate of excellence for our facility with low environmental impact.

Biomass heating system
We have a state-of-the-art heating system powered by wood chips (wood waste) that comes from a sawmill a few kilometers from the hotel.
Waste sorting
It is the small daily actions that help us protect the environment. We use environmentally friendly and recyclable products to facilitate recycling and ask our guests to help us in our environmental efforts.
Energy saving
In our own small way, everyone can make a big difference. Pay attention to the use of running water, avoid leaving unused lights on, don't ask for new towels if you don't absolutely need them...let's remember that natural resources are not infinite!
Local products
Our menu features a selection of products from Trentino's short food supply chain as much as possible. In addition to ensuring high quality, we are committed to supporting local producers and reducing pollution caused by transportation.
Peio plastic free
The "Peio Plastic Free" project is a pioneering sustainable initiative aimed at eliminating disposable tableware, cups, straws, and plastic bottles in mountain huts and hotels, making the Stelvio National Park ski area the first in the world without single-use plastic. This project is also supported by our hotel and follows the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
